About Kahara Sol
I am an integrative somatic practitioner, yoga teacher, meditation guide, and fasting facilitator with over 20 years of experience in the healing and teaching world.
My work is grounded in the belief that true healing happens when we engage the body, nervous system, and consciousness together, with patience, presence, and respect for natural rhythms.
I’ve trained across multiple modalities including somatic bodywork, reflexology, yoga, meditation, restorative practices, energy work, and conscious cleansing. Rather than separating these practices, I weave them together to support whole-being transformation.
My Approach
I create a grounded, compassionate space where the body can soften, awareness can deepen, and healing can unfold organically.
My work emphasizes:
• Nervous system safety
• Embodied awareness
• Integration over intensity
• Disciplined yet compassionate practice
Each session or container is guided by what is most supportive for the individual.
Who I Work With
I work with individuals who are:
• Seeking holistic healing and embodiment
• Navigating emotional or physical transitions
• Interested in conscious fasting and disciplined practice
• Wanting to deepen their relationship with their body and inner wisdom
My practice is based in Santa Barbara and Montecito.
A Note on My Path & Philosophy
In 2014, I had an experience that deeply reshaped how I understand healing, life, and the human experience.
I was shown a state of consciousness that felt complete, a field of pure presence, love, and unity. There was no sense of separation, no “self” and no “other.” It appeared like a living nebula of color and light, moving and breathing with its own intelligence, what I can only describe as the language of Source.
In that space, there was an undeniable knowing: everything was whole, nothing was missing, and nothing needed fixing.
When I returned to ordinary awareness, what became clear was this:
our human experience is not separate from that state, it is the classroom that leads us back to it.
We are given free will, choice, and the opportunity to learn how to live with presence rather than reaction, intention rather than unconscious patterning. Healing, to me, is not about escaping the human experience, it’s about learning to inhabit it fully.
Self-Mastery as a Living Practice
Self-mastery is not perfection.
It is the ongoing practice of meeting life consciously, in the body, in relationship, and in the nervous system.
Much of the suffering we experience comes from forgetting who we are beneath conditioning, trauma, and survival patterns. My work is devoted to helping people reconnect with their inner knowing, restore safety in the body, and re-light that quiet inner sense of home.
I sometimes call this soul remembrance, not as something to strive for, but something to gently uncover.
What makes working with me different?
First and foremost, I guide from lived experience.
I have spent many years working with my own healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and I do not ask clients to go anywhere I have not gone myself. This has taught me that healing does not come through force or fixing, but through love, presence, patience, and attunement.
When you work with me, you are met as an equal. I listen from a clear, grounded, and unbiased space, offering support that honors your autonomy and inner wisdom.
My commitment to embodied healing, authentic presence, and integrative practice is what shapes my work, and what many clients feel most deeply when we work together.
